He insisted that this trick only be staged with playing cards made by Alfie Cook. He was the only UK manufacturer whose cards portrayed decorative art in various forms. Rob Long insisted on only using that particular brand of card, as the quality was superb.

It seems like Alfie Cook’s reputation has been affected by the same event that brought Rob Long’s
life to an abrupt end, after his show at The Deck Box. There is some good news, as the powers to behave a lead that could expose the killer; in fact, they have a great deal of evidence.

The reason for this is, just before Rob Long died, he was able to extract a number of cards from the pack in an attempt to show the investigators exactly what happened. However, it will still require a great deal of expert investigating to bring the perpetrator to book. In fact, the authorities may have a trump card, which will lead them straight to the killer.
