Murder – The Last Song Story-line 

There is a gathering of the rich and famous at the Four Summers Hotel, celebrating and bringing in the New Year. People are eating and dancing and preparing to make a toast to the new year. Everybody has their glass of champagne in one hand and some streamers in the other, waiting for the clock to strike 12, to celebrate the arrival of 1956.

The countdown begins and as the clock strikes 12, Rob Dilan with his band, ‘The Tasty Green Peppers,’ start to sing the familiar New Year’s song Auld Lang Syne. The new year promises to be a very good one, lots of great opportunities.

Things in the room take a sudden turn, the lights go out and the guests start becoming restless. Suddenly, shattering the atmosphere, are three gunshots. Soon after the lights come back on, it is clear, somebody took this opportunity to shoot and kill their intended victim. This somebody, with deadly intent, had murdered Brice Sprinting, who was the lead singer of the band on stage. His voice had enchanted all those who heard him, making him very popular among the ladies.

His band had been coming for many years to the Four Summers, to bring in the New Year

Elizabeth Fari – Owner of the Four Summers Hotel

She also used to be a dancer, she has worked hard over the years to make the hotel, the number one place to be.

Antonio Luigi – Alleged Mob Boss

People know him for managing a string of pizza restaurants, but others know he gets his money from more nefarious ways.

Kristy Alera – Singer

She has been with the band for many years but plans to break away to start her own career as a singer and songwriter.

Cathy ‘Bongo’ Bass – Band Drummer

She was what gave the band their beat, which sometimes overpowered everything else.

Fred Chappy – Professional pianist

He made the piano come alive, everybody loved him, who would want to harm him? The piano player is after all not the lead singer.

Bessy Beret – Coat Checker

Checking in the hats and coats of all the visitors, she knows which hats and coats belong to which guests.

Doug Quimby – City Mayor

He has been mayor for the past 20 years, if you are not on his side, then you are nothing to him.
