Instruct everyone in your group to find a partner. Each person shares a memory or experience that had a negative impact on their life with their partner. It could be an event or experience that happened as a child, at school or at work.
Together they then explore and identify something positive that came from the experience.
After a few minutes, trade places and have the other participant share a story.
This activity helps people understand there can be positives that come from all experiences. Keep in mind that this activity could trigger some sensitive conversations so ensure appropriate supervision and care.
