The Goal of Pink Elephant Minute to Win It Game

The players have an extended slinky attached to their foreheads. In this game, they are only allowed to move their heads. They need to flick the slinky in the air and have it land on their forehead. The slinky needs to remain there, compressed for the contestant to win. If the slinky falls over, the player needs to try again.

How to Play the Pink Elephant Minute to Win It Game

  1. To assemble the elephant’s trunk, the headband is placed on the head and the first 5 coils are placed behind the headband (between the headband and the player’s forehead), with the remaining coils hanging out in front.
  2. When the clock starts, the player moves his or her head and body in an attempt to make the slinky come up and together, to rest on the player’s forehead.
  3. The slinky must rest on the player’s forehead, with all coils together, for at least 3 seconds for the challenge to be completed.

Some useful tips

  1. You do not want to play this challenge with a metal slinky, which is heavy and could hurt players or be potentially dangerous.
  2. Keep small rubber bands on hand to tighten the headband (if needed), since everyone’s head isn’t the same size. This is especially helpful if you’re playing the game with children.
  3. Don’t use only your head to attempt this challenge; moving your body can be helpful as well. Kneeling lower as the slinky is tossed up can give you the advantage you need to win this challenge.
