Any similarity between Stars 'n Toads and your office or parrot is probably just pure coincidence;
But, things like this have happened...
Well, I don't know whether the parrot died or not, perhaps it did not die, but someone who lost a parrot was sitting in front of a factory on smoking break and a parrot flew up. They caught it and took it home.
Whether or not it died is a closely guarded smoking break secret, but Twinkles suggested that it probably would if Slider took it home to his smoke filled house. So we may not have saved the poor parrot, but at least we have immortalized it's image in a cartoon. Not every parrot is so honored.
