Free Screensaver From Toady
Add Stars 'n Toads twice-weekly cartoons to your
screensaver or desktop - free!
HERE'S HOW WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED...

THIS INSTRUCTION PLACES A NEW CARTOON ON YOUR DESKTOP TWICE WEEKLY.
Hold you CURSOR OVER the comic strip (below) and RIGHT CLICK
Select SET AS DESK TOP ITEM and follow the prompts.
(See the notes below the cartoon for more information)
CURRENT CARTOON - UPDATED MONDAY AND WHENEVER (Wednesday or Thursday)
STRAIGHT TO YOUR DESKTOP OR SCREEN SAVER
NOTES:
Close all your open windows (WINDOWS(flag)KEY & M) to see it.
Put your cursor near the top of the cartoon and a utility box will appear around it. Move or resize it by holding your cursor on the utility box. You can re-size it if you wish or move it to a different location.
To remove it go to CONTROL PANEL, DISPLAY, DESK TOP, CUSTOMIZE DESKTOP, WEB. Check the boxes of anything you want to delete.
In order to let you see all the new 'toons without having to save both to your desk top, the cartoon below will update twice weekly. So instead of going to Toady's home page you can just save the comic strip above to your desk top or screen saver and it will automatically update. It is the same as one of the two home page 'toons.
This comes with the famous Toady Screen Saver Guarantee. If it doesn't update you get your money back!!! (Ribet!)
NOTE: The updates are a little strange. I haven't figured out what triggers them, but they do happen. On my computer there is a (cursor over) narrow gray box above the cartoon. Right click it and then click on syncronize. If you are on line it will update the cartoon.

MAKE STARS 'N TOADS YOUR SCREENSAVER
Hold you CURSOR OVER the comic strip and RIGHT CLICK
Select SET AS BACKGROUND
Your screen saver is now the latest Toady in brilliant living color!
NOTES:
To close all open windows quickly, push the WINDOWS FLAG and M at the same time.
To un-do the new screensaver, RIGHT CLICK your screensaver and select PROPERTIES.
The Control Panel DISPLAY should pop up. Select DESK TOP
Internet Explorer Wallpaper is checked. Check a different one.
ALSO: You may not be able to see the bottom of the comic strip. If you left click on the windows start bar you can drag it to any location on your screen.

EMAIL TOADY'S LATEST TO PEOPLE WHO RELATE
Same technique: RIGHT CLICK over the comic strip you want to email.
Follow the prompts as it opens the email you have set as default in your (browser menu) TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS - PROGRAMS - EMAIL.
You may have to click on the attachment in your email for this to work, and sometimes it still doesn't send anything but a blank file. So, go to this link and I will show you a better way, but it will cost you a lot of Toady Bucks.
