Amazing poetry from the mind of a teen age girl: Lizy.
Poetry in a contemporary style, mostly, as it flows from the brain of a teen age girl.
Lizy is a teen in 7th grade. She writes poetry on subjects for which she becomes passionate for some reason.
I See A Story is poetry which happened when a teacher tried to inspire students to read. Teen Lizy felt this poetry which described why she loves to read.
Rebirth is poetry somewhat based on the eruption and healing of Mt. St. Helens Volcano. While it happened in 1980, before this teen was born, the whole process of destruction and healing has been an inspiration to her.
The poetry about Catherine The Great, a limerick with 10 verses(!) resulted from an assignment to write a limerick, and Lizy's reading about various queens and princesses of Europe.
Art is poetry which came from a impassioned moment of trying to describe to other students why Lizy loves to express herself in art forms. She consistently gets top grades in her art classes with other teens.
Poetry titled "The World and I" is a reflection during difficult moments. Most teens have a few of them.
