2008 Calendar of Workplace Humor From Stars 'n Toads Comic Strip

WORK R FUN INC is a cartoon office that evolved in the bureaucratic haze of a world class, high-volume circuit assembly plant where we laughed a little every day.

Sometimes we were treated like stars with a bright future; other times we were ignored, blamed, belittled and "whipped". One member of the team had a way of putting an interesting spin on everything that
happened and we started writing down some of his better lines. It slowly grew into a full blown comic strip.

No one is identified in this 2008 calendar of cartoons. No cartoon character gets all of it's persona from a single individual. Toady, Twinkles, and Liz are composite personalities and probably represent all of us at one time or another. The bad habits of Felina and Slider are certainly not all found in a single person, (I hope). All of us feel like stars some days and are treated like toads on others. Even managers have their bosses, so we expect most everyone to relate to Toady. Of course, a few managers (ha) will think our birds represent them, so we say: "If the shoe fits, wear it!" And most of us would say: "Cut it out!"

This calendar is dedicated to those brave souls who survive in the "bureau-crazy" by adding a bit of levity to every situation. It's designed remind them that they are not alone, for Toady knows their pain.
